Creating a Child Theme
Creating a "child theme" allows you to receive future updates of the theme and allows you to develop custom solutions. To do that;
- Navigate to the header of the portal
- Marketing
- Files and Templates
- Design Tools
- Find the "marketplace" folder at the left panel then see the "essence" theme folder
- Then right-click with your mouse
- Click "Create child theme
- Click the "Create child theme" orange button
- Then after you see "Your child theme is ready to go", please close the window
- Now you have a child theme with the connection of the parent theme
- child.css file can be used for the custom solutions or any modules that are in the parent theme can be cloned for the child theme and can improved by manipulating/adding the desired code
